Whatever Happened to Rod Blagojevich's TRIAL?!

WTF ever happened to the "overwhelming evidence" against Rod Blagojevich?! I thought prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald had SO much against the now-impeached Governor that he asked a judge to extend his deadline to APRIL 2009. It's Oct and nuttin'. Blago's no angel - just look at him - but something STINKS there... Let's hear the tapes, leak the transcripts...SOMETHING. it's HIGHLY unusual that NOTHING has leaked out of this case whatsoever. curious to see how this is gonna play out..or if everyone will just FORGET that this guy NEVER had a trial and was NEVER found guilty of any wrongdoing...yet.
